At Mohammad & Jaafar-Mohammad, LLC, we have a policy of open and honest communication, and this includes fees. We are willing to work with you to make your representation affordable. We offer payment plans and tiered pricing. At MJM, we pride ourselves on providing reasonable prices for outstanding legal work.
CRIMINAL
All fees that are quoted for criminal defense representation are flat fees, with no additional charges, fees, or surprises. Once you pay us, you will not pay us a single cent more for the duration of the representation. We charge different fees based on the nature of the charge the severity of the charge, and the complexity of the alleged violation. For select clients, payment plans are considered.
BUSINESS LAW
We pride ourselves on providing you with aggressive and high quality representation at a reasonable price. For most matters, we will quote you a total price for the work you have requested. Once you have paid that fee, you will not have to pay us for any more work on that issue.
For matters that are more difficult to estimate the total amount of time that will be necessary and for clients who wish to retain our law firm on a retainer basis for ongoing representation, MJM charges based on a reasonable hourly fee structure.
If we represent you on a contingency basis, we will not charge you any fees. We do not recover unless you recover.
ESTATE PLANNING
We offer flat fees for most of our estate planning work. If you have a more complex situation, we offer appropriate hourly pricing. We offer a package that includes your will (and your spouse’s will if applicable), power of attorney, and health care directive for an affordable price.
